Public pump curves and self-prime tables can remind a buyer to ask for simultaneous flow and head, working pressure, temperature and viscosity. They do not establish that a named factory will prime the buyer suction geometry with the buyer fluid. Wetted-material lists and ISO statements attached to a catalog family remain the bidder’s documents.
What does the source not establish?
A published self-prime height does not prove restart after a stop on a long suction line, on a fluid hotter than the table, or on a stainless steel centrifugal pump trimmed for a different duty. Back pull-out withdrawal clearance is not confirmed until the supplier states rotor length and the pad layout the quote assumes.
