Public manufacturer literature can show why stainless grade, temperature and working pressure are listed as separate limits from hydraulic flow and head. That pattern is useful as a procurement question: ask the quoting plant to mark the simultaneous duty on its curve, then name the alloys for casing, impeller, wear rings and seal hardware against the stated fluid. Suction conditions used for selection must be the buyer’s NPSHa or suction-line geometry, not a flooded-suction photograph from another site. If a high pressure centrifugal pump or multistage centrifugal pump is proposed for the same loop, the pressure-containing envelope belongs to that arrangement, not to a single-stage stainless family page. Continue with the catalog options after the fluid row is written.
What does the source not establish?
A published stainless grade does not establish chloride resistance for your concentration, temperature and aeration. It does not establish NPSH margin at your suction strainer, nor does it confirm that a representative production sample will be used for seal or material advice. It does not transfer another project’s output, MOQ or lead time. Those gaps stay open until the named supplier answers for this duty, quantity and destination.
